FOUR WIND MINISTRY
4-Wind Ministry is a faith-based, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering holistic community transformation through spiritual development, education, advocacy, and community outreach. Founded by Tammy L. Gilbert, the ministry has faithfully served the St. Louis metropolitan region for more than twenty years.
Rooted in compassion and guided by a commitment to human dignity, 4-Wind Ministry empowers underserved and marginalized populations by increasing access to essential resources, supportive services, and personal development opportunities. Our work is built upon strategic partnerships, community engagement, and the belief that every individual possesses God-given potential and purpose.

Our Areas of Impact
Food Security & Community Outreach
4-Wind Ministry addresses food insecurity by providing food assistance and connecting individuals and families with critical community resources. Through outreach initiatives and partnerships, we strive to reduce barriers that contribute to poverty and instability while promoting long-term self-sufficiency.
Youth Development & Mentoring
Our youth development program pairs trained mentors with at-risk and underserved youth to promote academic success, social-emotional well-being, leadership development, and career readiness. Utilizing trauma-informed and evidence-based practices, our program equips young people with the skills, support, and resilience necessary to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Women's Advocacy & Empowerment
4-Wind Ministry is committed to advocating for women who have experienced abuse, trauma, or other life challenges. Through conferences, workshops, support initiatives, coaching, and empowerment programs, we provide safe spaces for healing, education, restoration, and personal growth.
Literacy & Educational Enrichment
We promote lifelong learning through literacy initiatives, book clubs, educational workshops, and enrichment activities designed to strengthen reading skills, encourage critical thinking, and cultivate a culture of learning within the community.
Senior Engagement
Recognizing the challenges of social isolation among older adults, our ministry provides opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and meaningful community engagement that support the emotional and spiritual well-being of seniors.
